Patrick Savina
A love of performing live music from a young age led to Pat completing a Bachelor in Contemporary Music around the turn of the century.
The following years Pat toured around Australia, Asia, and Europe as a bass player, bringing a dedicated work ethic blended with a sense of fun and silliness to the diverse styles of bands that he played in: Pop, indie-rock, country, jazz, blues and musical theatre, now a mastered multi-instrumentalist, he became focused on writing instrumental music for film, tv and video games.
When he and Joel started performing together in 2013 in Perth the pair formed a firm friendship and discovered that their creative approaches complimented each other, their collaboration being greater than the sum of its parts.
Pat now lives in Perth and spends his spare time playing low grade cricket, riding motorbikes and roller skating. He loves talking, laughing, and the magical places that music can take the mind.
Joel HOPSON
Joel was raised in a musical family, and he followed in the footsteps of his parents to enjoy the wonders of music.
Joel’s passion for technology is coupled with his creativity to drive cutting edge compositions. From an early age, he’s thrived on finding a solution, and creating one if he can’t. He’s often found mixing technologies like VR, CRT Televisions and Hand tracking to find that new sound.
After touring music took him around the US, Canada, Mexico and the U.A.E - Joel crossed paths with Pat in 2013 and they started on a journey of creativity - each with their own unique approach to songwriting, to start a collaboration that has a unique special sound.
Joel Lives in Hobart Tasmania with his Groodle (and wife and kids), and can be found playing live gigs around Hobart any given weekend, cycling or trying to blend new technologies in Virtual Reality.
